Mysterious Arthropods Discovered in Warsaw Basement
Researchers from the University of Warsaw have uncovered several unidentified arthropod species in a 19th-century basement in the capital's Śródmieście district. The specimens were discovered during a police raid on an illegal live casino studio operating in the underground space. The arthropods, found thriving in the artificial lighting and climate-controlled environment, display unusual morphological characteristics that don't match any known Polish urban fauna. Initial analysis suggests these may be previously undocumented species that adapted to the unique conditions created by the clandestine gambling operation.
